The best thing...

The best thing about being on a very low carb diet is NOT getting hungry.  Seriously.  How freeing is THAT?

HAVING to eat in order to take my vitamins and supplements that require food, can be a bit of a drag though.

Seriously.

I LOVE bread and cereal products... but I HATE the way they make me hungry shortly after eating them and throughout the days.  I always have to weigh whether the taste-bud thrill is worth it. For the past month or so I have decided it is NOT.

I am saving a whole wonderful taste-bud tingling fruit cake... for a special occasion... with lots of milk to wash it down.  But for now, I prefer to remain hunger free for awhile longer.

AND as much as I love fruitcake (really!) it's a bit of an ego boost to know that I can resist it.  (for now)
